Vintage Denim

My whole inspiration behind this post came from my mom’s closet. I’d been wanting a denim jacket for a while now, and I had a feeling she would have a good one. I dug into the closet and found this cool, Hard Rock Cafe Miami, denim jacket. Sorry mom, but I was taking this home with me.

What’s better than a vintage piece? Especially when it comes to vintage denim, it’s a favorite of almost everyone. With Levis increasingly becoming more trendy, I thought this post fit in perfectly with the times. There are many ways to style a denim jacket. You could easily dress it up with some heels and a dress, or dress it down with some jeans and sneakers. I styled this vintage piece with a black, bodycon dress and some white Adidas sneakers.

I didn’t want to take away from the statement piece, the denim jacket, too much. This vintage piece definitely has grown a place in my heart, not just because it’s super stylish but because it was handed down to me by my mom. Another favorite about this little photoshoot was the edgy vibes of the location. Taking the time to adventure into town and explore some new places that I’ve never seen was quite a blast. You would be surprised by how many great locations your area has to do a photoshoot.

This denim jacket definitely made me feel a bit on the edgy side. Knowing that it came from a Miami vacation and was worn and adored by my mom really made me appreciate the piece as a whole. All I can say is that if you’re thinking about purchasing a vintage denim piece, go for it. Whether it’s a classic like some Levis or even a denim jacket from The Hard Rock Cafe, it’s worth it. Everyone should have one piece of clothing in their closet that has a great story and brings some good vibes to your wardrobe.

Thank you guys so much for taking the time to read my post. Let me know in the comments what you’d like to see more of!
