Hello everyone and welcome back to Gigi Trends! This Summer has been crazy, filled with lots of class work, an internship, and moving. I am back with a new series that I think you guys will love! The Workwear Series. I’m going to be sharing outfits that are perfect for work, an internship, an interview, or any scenario that you’ll have to dress a bit more professional. In the first post of this series, I’m sharing a look that’s more on the casual workwear side, but still perfect for a semi-professional setting. A button down top is an absolute essential in anyone’s wardrobe. Though I never realized that until I started my internship. Adding a button down top to your outfit guarantees a more professional look. This pink and white striped top is from H&M.
The denim skirt definitely makes this outfit more casual. However, it showcases personal style. I wouldn’t recommend wearing this outfit to a job interview, but it’s perfect for a nice brunch, a casual business meeting, or maybe an internship based in the field of fashion. For shoes, I went with mules. Mules are the perfect shoe for (almost) any scenario. They have a small heel so they dress up the outfit while remaining super comfortable.
Accessorizing is always a good idea. In this look, I kept it simple with my Tiffany & Co. necklace that I always wear and a simple handbag. When in doubt, stick to your staples.
