How To Transition Your Wardrobe Into Spring

Transitioning out of our winter wardrobes can be tough. We’ve gotten used to the heavy coats and boots, and now the warm weather is upon us. For most of us, the weather will get to the point where it’s not cold outside, nor is it really warm. So, we need an outfit that’s going to fit us for that weather. Today, I’m going to share with you an outfit idea and explain how to transition your wardrobe into spring.

For this outfit, I decided to style a summer dress with a long sleeve top. I’d been wanting to wear this dress for a while, but it wasn’t appropriate yet to wear it alone. So, I decided to style it with a light, white, long sleeve top. To keep the outfit casual, I paired my classic, white Adidas with it. I wear these shoes a lot, and truly, it’s because they go with everything.

Not only is this outfit casual for every day, but it’s super comfortable. This outfit is definitely going to be a go-to for me, during the transition into spring.

If it’s already warm where you live, you could style a pair of denim shorts with a long sleeve top and some sneakers or sandals. I live in Arizona, and it’s definitely starting to get to that point. You could also style a simple bodysuit with some high-waisted jeans and a pair of flats. There are many ways you can incorporate your winter pieces with your summer pieces.

If it’s still on the colder side where you live, feel free to layer up. When I lived on the east coast I always loved to layer my outfits. You could style a light long sleeve top with an oversized cardigan, a jacket, and some booties.

There are always ways that you can incorporate different pieces of your wardrobe and put them together. I’ll list some outfit ideas in my Shop This Look below, as well as my EXACT outfit & some similar pieces!
